Universities and colleges in Bihar decided to extend the admission application process over nationwide lockdown. Delays in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the educational institutions across the state has come in as a huge relief for the candidates who were to apply for the admission procedures.
Institutions like Patna University announced earlier that they will start admission procedures for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and have now postponed the admission procedures until further notice. As per the official notice issued by Patna University, according to the 21-day lock-in imposed, all affiliated colleges and related units of the university will be closed until April 14, 2020.

Considering the convenience of students, the admission process of the new academic year will be carried out after the lockdown ends.
The university stated that the rescheduling date for the admissions process has not yet been determined and ensured that the university will start the academic session on time.
Similarly, the Central University of South Bihar has also extended the university’s application date. CUSB has begun the admission process for the next semester on March 16, 2020. According to the revised timetable, the last date for online application forms for undergraduate and graduate programs is not April 25, 2020.
However, Patliputra University has not announced the start date of the admission process for the next academic year. University officials said they are preparing a revised timetable to include fresh admissions for the new academic year.
