Punjab Bird flu: As the risks of Bird flu increase tremendously all across the country and with more than 5 lakh bird being dead across the states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and more.
As the risk of infection increases, the market prices of chicken and eggs has suddenly decreased due to the panic in consumers pertaining to infection transmission. The decrease in the amount price is not just by Rs 10 or Rs 20 but rather by Rs 80 which has created hoarding of items but with the panic among the consumers there is less demand and more supply of the products.
The bird flu attack on poultry traders have emerged to be challenging for the traders and shop keepers as already they are being affected by Covid-19 and the pandemic. The wholesale price of eggs was Rs 574 per and now it has dropped by Rs 80 to Rs 494 and in a matter of just four days, the decrease in prices can be seen.
