The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday, November 16, released 4th list of candidates. The party announced its candidates for Jugsalai, Jaganathpur and Tamar constituencies.

Mochiram Bauri will contest from Jugsalai seat, Sudhir Sundi from Jaganathpur, while Reeta Devi Munda will fight polls from Tamar constituencies. The elections in the three legislative assembly seats will take place in the second phase of polling on 7 December, along with 17 other constituencies.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das-led BJP is hoping to retain power in the state. During 2014 elections, the BJP won 37 seats, its ally All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) won five.

The combined tally was enough for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to cross the majority mark of 41 in the 81-member Assembly.

Not Raghubar Das, Modi-Shah will lead Jharkhand campaign
