Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Wednesday was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha in the bypolls to fill the seat which fell vacant following death of former Union minister Arun Jaitley.
The BJP leader, a PhD holder in Mechanical Engineering, has been working for the party for a long time. His knowledge and a keen interest in Indian politics led him into mainstream politics at a very young age. He was the youngest ever Information Advisor of Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh.
Not only this but at the age of 35, he took a huge responsibility and became a Political Advisor of the president of a national political party in India.
Trivedi played a very crucial role in the 2014 General Elections. He was one of the members of a core team of Media and Communications, where he ideated, executed and campaigned for the saffron party along with Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, and present Home Minister Amit Shah.
In 2019 Loksabha Elections, Trivedi was Co-in-charge for Rajasthan along with Member of Media and Literature Committee.
Presently, he is the National Spokesperson of the ruling party. He is an ardent speaker on the issues of India’s National policy, Polity, Society and particularly the Ideological aspects of Bharatiya Janata Party.
