Popular make-up artist of Hindi films, Pandhari Juker passed away after a prolonged illness. He had worked in the industry for almost sixty years.
Pandhari had worked with the biggies of Bollywood, from Nargis to Dilip Kumar, Meena Kumari, Raj Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Sridevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan. Pandhari was 88 years old when he died in Mumbai.
He is fondly known as Pandhari dada, started his career as a makeup artist during the era of black and white films. Pandhari Juker was awarded the Shantaram Jeevan Gaurav for his work.
Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to condole his death. Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit were also amongst them.
