The Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyals’ father has been tested positive for coronavirus. He has now been admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh. Nautiyal through his Facebook page said that who has been in contact with him should go and take the test.
He appealed to his well-wishers that coronavirus is a global epidemic. He added that you are also urged to take special care of yourself and your loved ones. The district’s chief medical officer, Dr. BC Ramola has confirmed corona infection in Rammashan Nautiyal.
More than 400 corona patients were found positive in the state on Wednesday. Four corona infected patients succumbed to covid19 in AIIMS Rishikesh.
There were 439 corona infected patients. Most of the 139 infected patients were found in Haridwar. 119 corona in Udham Singh Nagar District, 82 in Dehradun, 28 corona infected patients found in Nainital.
21 in Chamoli, 17 in Tehri, 12 in Champawat, three infected in Almora, Bageshwar, Tehri, seven in Pithoragarh, five in Pauri were found infected.
With a record single-day increase of 66,999 cases, India’s COVID-19 tally mounted to 23,96,637 on today, while the number of patients who have recovered from the disease surged to 16,95,982, pushing the recovery rate to 70.77 per cent in the country, according to the Union health ministry.
