Match details
Series/tournament name: NBA Preseason
Venue: TD Garden
Date: October 13, 2019, 19:00 IST
Preview:
While this used to be a rivalry game, these are two organizations headed in different directions. Boston is expected to compete for the top spot in the east but the Cavaliers are going to try to avoid the worst record in their conference.
Probable starting lineups
BOS: Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward and Robert Williams
CLE: Collin Sexton, Brandon Knight, Cedi Osman, Larry Nance, Kevin Love
Top picks:
Robert Williams, BOS (6 credits): It looks like Boston is choosing to start Williams over Kanter. The reason for that is because they want Kanter to run the bench. What that does is guarantee Williams close to 20 minutes of action and he can easily double-double in that amount of playing time.
Larry Nance Jr, CLE (12 credits): Nance should be looking at a career-high in terms of minutes, usage and shots taken. That makes him one of my breakout players of the season, as he is always been one of the best per-minute producers in the NBA.
Collin Sexton, CLE (12.5 credits): Sexton had a solid rookie campaign and Cavs fans are ecstatic to see how he looks in his second season. He should be asked to play heavy minutes every night for this weak roster and could very well lead the team in shots taken, minutes played and usage rate.
