BPSC Prelims 2020: Bihar Public Service Commission has released the official notification for 66th combined civil services examination on Wednesday at its official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The commission has also announced the tentative date for holding its preliminary test.
As per the notice, there are 562 vacancies for various posts in different departments of Bihar government.
The 66th BPSC PT will be conducted on December 27, 2020. Aspirants who will successfully submit their applications for the recruitment will be called to appear for the PT.
The online registration for BPSC 66th preliminary examination will commence from September 28 and conclude on October 20. Interested candidates who meet the required eligibility will be able to apply online at bpsc.bih.nic.in or online bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The recruitment drive is being held for candidates to hire for 562 vacancies for various posts including superintendent of police, jail superintendent, state tax assistant commissioner, upper election officer, planning commissioner, Bihar Probation Service officer, additional district transport officer, food supply inspector, labour enforcement officer, revenue officer, block panchayati raj officer and other.
Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply. The candidates have to qualify for the preliminary exam followed by a main exam and interview.
At the same time, BPSC has also released the dates for conducting 65th BPSC Main exam. The 65th BPSC main exam would be held on October 13, 14 and 20. Thus, the total 434 vacancies will be filled through BPSC 65th recruitment drive.
