3:35 PM| Senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan was seen smoking a hookah during a virtual hearing of the Rajasthan High Court. The video clip, which has gone viral on social media, shows senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan holding a set of papers in front of his face as lawyer Kapil Sibal argues.

The incident was caught on camera on Thursday as the Jaipur Bench of the Rajasthan High Court resumed hearing on the plea challenging the merger of six BSP MLAs with the Congress.

Next year if you apply for a passport or renew your existing passport, you may get an e-passport embedded with an electronic microprocessor chip. In a pilot project, the government has already issued 20,000 official and diplomatic e-passports with such chips.

According to the report, the agency will set up a dedicated unit and processes for preparing personalised e-passports to enable issuance of 10,000 to 20,000 per hour and IT systems will be set up in Delhi and Chennai to handle this load.
