Lexii Alijai, who was a budding rapper died at the age of 21. Her rapper cousin Raeisah Clark confirmed the news on Facebook that she passed away on January 1. The reason for her death is not known yet.
Fans of the upcoming artist are shocked ever since the news surfaced and some of them have even taken to social media to express their grief.
For those unaware, the 21-year-old born in St. Paul, Minnesota was looking into a bright start in the rapping world, after she broke into the Billboard Hot 100. Alijai, whose full name was Alexis Alijai Lynch, was an up-and-coming rapper. The Minnesota-bred artist first garnered attention for appearing on Kehlani‘s song, “Jealous,” a few years ago.
Her cousin Raeisah Clark confirmed the news of Lexii’s death on Facebook and paid a tribute to her calling her a legend. She wrote, “You’re a real legend. If you know or heard her music you’d feel chills. Rest in paradise you’ll never be forgotten!”

She uploaded tracks of herself rapping over the beats of songs from Drake, Tupac, Dej Loaf and more. Although, cause of her death is not known yet but seems she was having some trouble emotionally as even in her recent tweet she mentioned trying to be heartless so bad.
