A video of a man seeking help from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going viral on the social media platforms. The man, who hails from Ghaziabad district of the state, can be seen with folded hands along with two sons in the video. He is requesting the chief minister to help him in saving his cancer patient wife who has now been tested positive for deadly coronavirus.

According to details available, the man in the video is Manish Kumar Tewari and he is a resident of the Loni area in Ghaziabad. Tewari said that his wife was taken to COVID-19 hospital by a team of the health department at 1:30 on Saturday night.

The man alleged that his wife not getting proper treatment and there is neither bathroom facility nor other medical facilities available in the hospital.

Manish urged the chief minister to help him as his wife is already suffering from cancer.

The man said he got her wife tested in a private lab but when her condition deteriorated, he informed the health department team. The team then came and took his wife to COVID hospital.

The husband alleged that his wife has not yet been given any medicines, nor she has been served food.

The health department has now swung into action after the video went viral on social media platforms.
