IIM CAT 2019: An important update for students who will appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2019) has been published on the official website by the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-Kozhikode). The entrance exam for taking admission to India’s top Business-schools is slated to be held on November 24, 2019. Candidates can avail their admit card from the official website- iimk.ac.in and can download the hall ticket.

Around 2.44 lakh candidates will be appearing for the CAT 2019 examination at 376 exam centres across 156 cities in India. The exam is scheduled for the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

CAT 2019 result is expected to be announced in the second week of January 2020. The CAT 2019 score is valid only till December 31, 2020.

The examination will be of three-hour duration which comprises of three sections-

  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

Follow the below steps to download the CAT 2019 admit card online

  • Step 1 – Click on the CAT’s official website iimcat.ac.in
  • Step 2 – Now click on the option ‘Download Admit Card’ tab
  • Step 3 – A new login window will open on the screen
  • Step 4 – Mention the CAT 2019 login id and password and click on the login tab
  • Step 5 – The hall ticket for CAT will be displayed
  • Step 6 – Check all the details mentioned in the admit card

CAT 2019: Important documents that a candidate should carry along with the admit card

  • Voter Id Card
  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Permanent Driving License
  • Photo ID issued by current employer
  • Photo ID card of the educational institution currently enrolled by the candidate

For answering each section, candidates will get exactly 60 minutes while PwD candidates will get 20 minutes extra for each section. Hence, they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
