Initially, the CBSE 10th and 12th examinations started from February 15, 2020. The last paper of the 10th was on 18 March.

Thereafter, in some areas of Delhi, there was a riot before the Coronavirus, due to which the examinations of CBSE East Delhi examination centers were postponed. Examinations in these areas of Delhi were to be conducted earlier but following the Supreme Court’s directive, CBSE decided to cancel the 10th and 12th examinations in view of the coronavirus crisis.

In such a situation, the result of CBSE 10th students of Delhi will be released on the basis of internal assessment, project work and assignment work.

CBSE had told the Supreme Court that students who are not satisfied with the assessment marks of CBSE 12th will be given an opportunity to sit in the examination later while the result of this assessment of the students of 10th will be the final result.

Around 18 lakh students had taken the class 10th exam this year. CBSE has already announced the class 12th results on July 13. A total of 88.78% students have been declared pass in the class 12th exam.
