12th Board Exam 2019: Check career options available after school

CBSE 12 Board Exam 2019 update: In a bid to help candidates scouting for right course choices, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released a guide for Class XII students.

“CBSE has prepared a compendium of suggestive courses for students which will help them get information about various course choices, institutes and combinations available in higher education beforehand after class 10 itself,” Anita Karwal,  CBSE chairperson, informed media.

The list, issued by CBSE, consists of 113 career options including art restoration, actuarial sciences, public relations, corporate intelligence, engineering, liberal studies and languages and related colleges and courses.

The 122 page list can be accessed at the official website,cbse.nic.in. The simple steps to download the list are mentioned below.

Career option list: Instructions to download online from CBSE’s official website

  • Step 1: Visit the official websitecbse.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Go to the Recent Announcement option.
  • Step 3: Click on ‘CBSE brings out the first ever compendium of academic courses for +2 students’ option.
  • Step 4: Download the list.
