The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare the CBSE class 10th exam results today, July 15 on its official website at cbseresult.nic.in. Around 18 lakh students who have appeared in the CBSE class 10 examination can check their result online at cbseresults.nic.in.
HRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had on Tuesday tweeted that the results will be announced on July 15 and wished the students best of luck.
“My dear Children, Parents, and Teachers, the results of class X CBSE board examinations will be announced tomorrow. I wish all the students best of luck.#StayCalm #StaySafe, “ HRD minister tweeted on Tuesday.

Earlier, CBSE had released an alternative assessment scheme for grading CBSE class 10, and 12 students.
According to the notification, the alternative assessments scheme will operate in the following way:
1. If a student appeared for more than three subjects before the examinations were cancelled, an average score will be calculated taking into account the three subjects in which the student scored highest.
2. For those students who appeared in lesser examinations, the average will be based on the two highest-scoring subjects and allotted to the remaining papers.
3. For those who appeared in less than three exams, results will be calculated based on the marks in the appeared subjects along with their performance in internal/ practical/ project assessment.
Students are advised to keep checking this space or CBSE’s official site for the latest update on the results. Once declared, Students can see their class 10th results 2020 online at various official websites, IVRS telephone numbers and as well as applications.
Over lakhs of students who appeared in the matriculation exams were patiently waiting for the results to be released after the CBSE board decided to cancel the pending exams and provide the results according to the new marking scheme.
A total of 91.46% students have passed CBSE class 10th exam this year. Last year, the pass percent was 91.10
There is an increase of 0.36 % in the pass percentage of CBSE class 10th as compared to last year. This year the pass percent is 91.46 while in 2019 it was 91.10.
This year also, girls have outscored boys in CBSE 10th result. The pass percent of girls is 93.31. Pass percentage of boys is 90.14
Kendriya Vidyalaya has recorded the highest pass percent at 99.23 followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya at 98.66.

CBSE 10th results 2020 announced.
The minimum marks required to clear a subject is 33. For subjects having practical and theory aspects, students have to pass in both.
CBSE 10th board exam date sheet was released in December last year.
CBSE Board will inform students about their individual results through SMS and emails available with the Board.
CBSE had released 12th results at 12 PM on July 13. It is expected that the board will announce CBSE 10th results at noon as well.

The students of northeast Delhi will be evaluated on the basis of the new assessment scheme, wherein the average of the best three performances is considered. The same is applicable to students appearing in more than three papers. For those appearing in three papers, the average of the best two performances has been taken into account.

Every year, the CBSE board declares class 10 results in the month of May 2020. But this year, the result of CBSE 10th 2020 has been delayed due to Coronavirus.
