A group of students have started an online petition against cancellation of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2021. The exams which are supposed to be held between May 4 to June 10 and the results are due for release near July mid.

A group of students have started an online petition against cancellation of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2021. The exams which are supposed to be held between May 4 to June 10 and the results are due for release near July mid.

As the year is termed to be difficult, an online petition has been filed by students more than 150 who want the board to be cancelled by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

With Covid-19 lockdown and studies being completely online, the year surely was difficult, and the reason behind the students wanting the exams to be cancelled is difficult, the exams as per the union education minister have already been postponed to May 2021, with practicals being in the month of March, and result to be announced in July, the students have filed a petition, but it might be had to get the exams cancelled.

The petition also pointed out that except the students who had the basic necessities for online classes such as phones and laptops, many didn’t even have that, so the only means to study- school, wasn’t open which impacted them the most; Several students other than this, also had financial difficulties, and because they couldn’t pay the fees of schools, the students couldn’t even continue their studies online.

The petition also said that it is unfair to conduct board exams in a year where students have gone through so much and can’t keep their best foot forward. Many have lost some close family members too due to covid and the online classes, and personal coaching has not made them ready for the exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

As an alternative to the exams, the students have suggested that the aggregate total of internal marks than Board marks.
