CBSE Board Result 2020: News agency ANI retracts story on results release dates

CBSE Board Result 2020: A fake circular of CBSE Board result of class 12th and 10th to be released on July 11 and July 13 has been shared on social media. The news of CBSE Board results declaration dates stands withdrawn as the CBSE release is “incorrect”, News Agency ANI said shortly after issuing a CBSE statement of Board exam results release dates.

The fake circular also claimed that the tentative time for both given was 4 pm. However, News Agency ANI tweeted that the circular is fake and the story has been retracted.

The revised date for Class 10th and 12th result will be declared soon. Once the result is declared, will be made available on cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.

The pending board exams for CBSE students postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown were held from July 1 to 15.

Previously, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank slammed critics, who alleged a conspiracy to reduce the syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) during the coronavirus pandemic. The CBSE has only reduced up to 30% the syllabus for nearly 190 subjects from Classes 9 to 12 for board exams of the 2020-21 session.

The board has said that no question will be asked from the reduced syllabus in the exams.

HRD Minister tweeted, “There has been a lot of uninformed commentary on the exclusion of some topics from #CBSESyllabus. The problem with these comments is that they resort to sensationalism by connecting topics selectively to portray a false narrative.”
