After much contemplation, CBSE is planning to issue the marksheets and other documents related to CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2020 via DigiLocker Mobile App, as per reports. The CBSE has started the last stage preparation to announce the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Results 2020.
Recently, the Board has sent an SMS to all the students of Class 10th and 12th, directing them to download the app and create an account for CBSE Results 2020.
The CBSE 10th and 12th results 2020 will be calculated according to the new assessment scheme announced by the Board. The CBSE Board will provide digitally signed copies of these documents to the students via DigiLocker App, which would help them submit these documents for the admission procedure for higher studies.
To avoid the risk to go to schools to obtain mark sheets and certificates amid COVID-19 pandemic, students can get the digital migration certificate of CBSE exams through DigiLocker.
DigiLocker App is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under Digital India programme and it aims at ‘Digital Empowerment’ of citizen by providing access to authentic digital documents to citizen’s digital document wallet. It had partnered with CBSE in 2019 to provide digital certificates to students.
CBSE also provides the pass certificate and mark sheet through DigiLocker. The CBSE Board has already created a default account for its students on DigiLocker Accounts.
But first students must create an account in the DigiLocker by using their Aadhaar card number. They can log in to their account by entering their mobile number or aadhaar card number or the username.
CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2020: How to download 10th, 12th Result Marksheets via DigiLocker App
- Step 1: Go to PlayStore or App store on your smartphone
- Step 2: Search and download DigiLocker app
- Step 3: To login, use the mobile number registered with CBSE.
- Step 4: You will receive an OTP to login to your DigiLocker account
- Step 5: Enter a six digit security pin, which is the last six digits of your CBSE board exam 2020 roll number
- Step 6: Download is complete. You will now be able to check and download your CBSE digital mark sheet.
- You can also download the app from digilocker.gov.in.
UMANG App:
Students can also check and download their results on UMANG Mobile Platform, available for android, iOS and Windows based Smart Phones.
UMANG or Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance has been developed by the ministry of electronics and IT, government of India. It is designed for citizens of India to offer them access to the pan-India e-Gov services from the Central, State, Local Bodies, and Agencies of government on app, web, SMS, and IVR channels.
