CBSE Compartment Exams 2020 application process begins for Class 10th, 12th students; Here’s how to apply

Those students who failed in one or more subjects in their board examinations can appear for the compartment exams this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for class 10th and 12th students who wish to taker the CBSE Compartment Exams 2020. Those students who failed in one or more subjects in their board examinations can appear for the compartment exams this year.

Class 10th and 12th students who want to appear for the CBSE Compartment Exams 2020 can apply via online mode. Moreover, the application window has been opened by CBSE and students can apply on or before August 20 by 5 PM.

The CBSE Compartment Exams 2020 are slated in September 2020 although no final date has been released by the board yet. Students have been actively protesting against the holding of the compartment exams during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

The regular candidates can apply through their respective schools while private candidates have to visit the official website of CBSE i.e., cbse.nic.in to apply for the compartment exams.

Yet no date has been finalised for CBSE Compartment Exams 2020

Students all over the country were against the conduction of the compartment exams by CBSE however, the board cleared out that conducting these exams is a must and cancelling the CBSE Compartment Exams 2020 can jeopardize the future of the students as for higher studies class 10th and 12th result is eminent.

“Compartment examinations are proposed to be conducted in September 2020. The date will be announced soon,” read a CBSE statement.

The application of the compartment exam will be considered only after paying the fee before the deadline. The students can also contact the IT unit of the concerned regional offices in case of queries.

A total of 87,651 Class 12 students and 1,50,198 Class 10 students have been placed in the CBSE compartment exam category this year. They are supposed to register for the same before August 20, 2020.
