CBSE Results 2020: Board issues helpline number for exam result queries and counselling

CBSE Class 12th Results 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 12 Result 2020 today i.e., on July 13, 2020. Students can check their CBSE Result 2020 by visiting the official website.

For exam related queries and counselling, students need to dial the toll-free helpline number as shared by the Board.

Students can call on toll-free number 1800-11-8004, which will remain activated in India from July 13 to July 27, 2020. Also, students must note that the above-stated toll-free helpline number can only be reached between 9.30 am to 5.30 PM.

The 23rd edition of the post-result counselling facility would be activated by CBSE with the help of 95 volunteer principals and trained counsellors from within affiliated schools located in and outside India.

Although, there are 73 Counsellors in India including special educators; 22 Counsellors are situated at Japan, Nepal, the Sultanate of Oman, UAE, Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and USA.

The Post-Result Counselling is being conducted to help students and parents address common psychological issues and general queries related to results.

1. The Centralized Toll-Free Access number 1800 11 8004 dialed from any part of the country would provide two options to the caller:

a. IVRS: Recorded useful tips to deal with exam results 2020 and other information on tackling stress, important contact details, Covid-19 precautions and so on.

Currently, as the official websites are down, the students can check 12th result 2020 through IVRS (Interactive Voice Respond System). Just dial the below mention numbers after the official declaration of the result and tell your Roll No. and Date of Birth –

011 – 24300699 (NIC)
011 – 28127030 (MTNL)
You will be charged 30 paise per minute per Roll No.

b. Live Tele-counselling: Tele-operators would connect students and parents to the principals, counsellors and special educators.

2. CBSE Website:

Students and parents can also get useful material and techniques to cope with result related anxiety at the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in.

The results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th exams will be available at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.

CBSE 12th Result 2020:

The result of the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE class 12 exam has been declared.

A total of 10.59 lakh (10,59,080) students passed the class 12th exam this year, with a pass percentage of 88.78 per cent. The pass percentage improved from the last year which was 83.40 per cent

Class 12th results of 400 students could not be computed as per decided assessment scheme, however, their results will be announced later, says CBSE. This year, girls outshine boys in CBSE class 12 examination, record 5.96 per cent higher pass percentage than boys
