In a slew measures to contain the spread of novel coronavirus in India, the government has requested the state governments to enforce work from home for private-sector employees except those working in emergency/essential services.

The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed a total of four lives in India.

The government has asked children below the age of ten years to stay in the home and not stay out that much, Ina govt notification, the Govt mentions railways and civil aviation to suspend all concessional travel except for students, patients and divyang category.

“State governments shall issue appropriate directions so that all citizens above 65 (other than for medical assistance) except for public representatives /government servants/ medical professionals are advised to remain at home,” the government of India said, as per a quote from News Agency ANI.

The novel coronavirus, also known as ‘COVID-19‘, has claimed the lives of four people and affected 168 in India so far.
