The disappearance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s picture from a government program banner in Katihar district has become a political issue. Due to this the politics of the state has become heated. Opposition groups called it a “game” for the BJP. He said the BJP has now started ‘playing’.

A one-bed maternity hospital, a 100-bed Sadar Hospital (Katihar) building and an additional primary health center building at Haflaganj (Katihar) were constructed at Katihar on Sunday to promote institutional delivery.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarakishore Prasad and Health Minister Mangal Pandey were present on the occasion, but the poster on the stage did not include a picture of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar or his name. The banner on the stage had pictures of the Deputy Chief Minister and the Health Minister.

It is noteworthy that both the Deputy Chief Minister and the Health Minister are BJP leaders. Along with BJP, JDU is running the government in Bihar. The BJP played the role of big brother, winning more seats than the JDU in last year’s assembly elections.

JDU leaders shed tears after a picture of the chief minister disappeared from a banner on stage, leaving BJP leaders in an awkward position on stage.

JDU leaders, including Bari MLA Vijay Singh and Municipal Corporation deputy Suraj Prakash Roy, expressed dissatisfaction. Leaders say the organizers have insulted them by ignoring them.

The leaders said, “It is a big mistake not to include the picture of the chief minister in the government program. The local legislators have not been named in the list. The organizing committee has made this big mistake.”

Here Deputy Chief Minister Tarakishore Prasad was also showing discomfort after the incident. He described it as “final” and said, “There seems to be no break here. We only work under the leadership of the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues.”

Here, the opposition is criticizing the absence of Nitish Kumar’s picture in the government program in Katihar. RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said the BJP has started showing its colors in Bihar after disbanding JDU MLAs in Arunachal Pradesh. He said the BJP was now trying to remove Nitish Kumar from power. He said the BJP game has started in Bihar and it will be the BJP’s ‘game hobby’.
