As these ice creams have been detected to be positive for covid-19 the samples and products have been seized with the threat of being potentially contaminated.
Now as thousands have been told to quarantine, the anti-epidemic authorities of the Tianjin Municipality are contact tracing thousands of people to identify who have these people come n contact with, as this can be the biggest spread of covid-19 and one that would be unlikely to trace with just ice cream details.
All of the products of Tianjin Daqiaodao have been seized temporarily and the company’s put around 1600 of its employees in quarantine, among which 700 have tested negative for covid-19. While the remaining are still being tested for the deadly covid-19 virus. It is being said that its no need to worry, it’s likely that the infection has been caused by a person.
Well, this is not the first time, China claimed coronavirus cases coming form food samples, in November of 2020 Covid-19 traces were found in cold chain imports such as Indian frozen butterfish, salmon packing, beef, and many other imported items tested positive for covid-19. This case of icecream testing positive for covid-19 is the second case of food being covid-19 positive.
