She shared her cosmetic nightmare with her 5million followers on China’s Twitter-like Weibo on Tuesday to warn them about the potential danger of plastic surgery.
“I had thought that these four hours (of surgery) would make me more beautiful, but I didn’t realise that they would be the beginning of a nightmare,” she wrote Tuesday.
On the advice of her friend, the actress underwent nose surgery at a Cosmetic clinic in Guangzhou City in south China’s Guangdong Province. After nearly four hours of surgery, the actress did not get the desired shape of the nose, but some part of her nose became decayed. Gao later found out that the clinic was not allowed to do that surgery. According to local Chinese Media ‘ The Paper ‘, an employee of the hospital administration and Health Bureau says the investigation into the case has begun.
According to the actress, her 2 projects have been canceled due to the wrong surgery of the nose, causing a loss of about $61,879. At the same time, the clinic may also have to pay 2 million yuan due to contract breakdown. According to a report by local Chinese media, the cosmetic surgery market in China has grown by 30 percent in the past five years. It is expected to be 1 trillion yuan by 2025.
