On Wednesday Priyanka Gandhi Vadra assumed her Office of Congress General Secretary.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi had appointed Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East on 23 January 2018.
“Honourable Congress president has appointed Shrimati Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East,” the party had said in an official release signed by General Secretary Ashok Gehlot.
The party had also appointed senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia as AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh West.
Earlier in the day, Priyanka Gandhi was seen accompanying her husband Robert Vadra at Enforcement Directorate Office for questioning in Money Laundering Case.
