As over 1 lakh migrants returned to Bihar on 83 special trains till Sunday, the number of coronavirus positive cases in the state has seen a rise too. 37 out of 38 districts of Bihar are infected by COVID-19. 24 in Madhubani, 19 in Bhojpur, 18 in Gopalganj, 14,14 in Aurangabad, and Bhagalpur respectively. 11, 11 in Champaran and Katihar respectively, 10 in North Champaran. 9,9 in Madhepura and Saharsha respectively. 8,8 in Siwan and Arwal respectively. 7 in Samastipur. 6, 6 in Gaya and Sitamarhi respectively. 5,5 in Jahanabad, Khagadia and Nawada respectively. 4 in Lakhisarai, Banka, and Vaishali respectivel. 3 in Muzaffarpur and Araria respectively, 2 in Purnia and Shekhpura respectively, 1 in Kisanganj and Supaul respectively. These districts are affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to the orders issued by the union government on April 30, Bihar had five red zones including Patna, Rohtas, Munger, Gaya, and Buxar while 20 districts had been put in orange zones and rest 13 in green zones. But now there are likely more districts would be classified in red zones while resting in orange zones in the state.
Moreover, door to door screening has been completed in 36 districts of Bihar so far.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar asks Centre's support for Covid-19 testing facilities. He also recommended that the lockdown should continue till May-end so that whosoever are coming back can be quarantined and recover.

According to the Additional Director General of Police (headquarters), Jitendra Kumar, 15 police personnel have tested coronavirus positive in Bihar so far.
Delhi Government, last month had taken a decision to deposit Rs 5,000 in bank accounts of registered construction workers. As this month also, lockdown has been extended, Delhi Labour Minister Gopal Rai confirms the tranfer of Rs 5,000 for the same this month as well.
Bihar Health Department confirms 7 new coronavirus positive cases, taking the tally to 714. All the new COVID-19 cases are males from Bhagalpur, Patna and Gopalganj districts of Bihar.
Shramik Special Train carrying 1206 migrant workers from Rajkot, Gujrat will reach Chapra today. These workers are from 12 different districts of Bihar.
Out of 707 coronavirus positive cases in Bihar, 365 patients have been recovered taking the recovery rate of COVID-19 to more than 50%.
Bihar has successfully completed its door to door coronavirus survey in 36 districts out of 38.
