Coronavirus: Chennai Express producer Karim Morani’s daughter Shaza tests positive for COVID-19

The film producer of Chennai Express Karim Morani’s daughter Shaza Morani has been tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). She is currently admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai while the other family members are in quarantine in Juhu.

It is also reportedly said that her nine family members will also be tested for coronavirus.

In an interview with India TV, Karim Morani confirmed that his daughter Sahza has been found to be coronavirus positive but she has no symptoms. We have admitted her to Nanavati hospital at the moment”.

As per reports, Shaza had returned from Australia before the city announced lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19. Shaza Morani has worked as an assistant director for movies like Always Kabhi Kabhi and Happy New Year.

After Kanika Kapoor, Shaza Moirani is the second case in the Bollywood industry who has tested positive for coronavirus. In the latest update, Kanika Kapoor has been discharged from the hospital. The singer, who was first tested positive on March 20, will have to stay hospitalized until another COVID-19 test result comes back as negative.
