Coronavirus in India: Ministry of Health’s 24*7 helpline service functional, fails to give proper safety measures

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared a post on the micro-blogging site which had all the basic safety measures in it with the mention of the helpline number of the Ministry of Health that can be contacted round the clock due to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus.

The outbreak of coronavirus continues to wreak havoc across the globe. The cases of Coronavirus India has been accelerated and on Monday it has confirmed two more cases in the country. In regard to the safety, a 24*7 helpline by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is being run by the Government of India and the helpline is functional but will leave you disappointed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared a post on the micro-blogging site which had all the basic safety measures in it with the mention of the helpline number of the Ministry of Health that can be contacted round the clock due to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus.

Newsd contacted the helpline number and had a word with the helpline service of Ministry of Health, in which the official was asked about the symptoms and the safety measures of the Coronavirus.

The official failed to provide the proper safety measures and further said that fever can be cured by paracetamol and when asked about the safety measures he said that all you need is to maintain a 1-metre distance from a person who is having cold and fever.

Meanwhile, the death toll due to the deadly virus climbed to 3,056 in 67 countries, with 89,527 confirmed cases of COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) had in January declared the outbreak of the disease to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. There is no cure for the respiratory illness caused by the new coronavirus. Therefore, avoiding exposure to the virus is the best way to prevent illness. Perhaps, good personal hygiene is the first and the most important step to good health.
