The health ministry said on Tuesday that If 69.9 cases per lakh population were reported across the world, then India has 10.7 cases per lakh reported so far. The comparison on absolute numbers, it said.

We later found some were complaining of nausea and palpitation. We clearly advised it should be taken with food. and we also advised that we need to do ECG."
The Indian Railways said on Tuesday that 223 Shramik specials trains were run to ferry 2.8 lakh passengers on Monday (May 25). The official also said that altogether 3,274 Shramik special trains have been run till May 25 carrying 44 lakh passengers to their home states.

According to AIIMS Director, Randeep Guleria, the present rise in cases has been reported predominantly from hotspot areas but there is a possibility of further rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the coming few days due to increased travel. "Those who are asymptomatic or are in presymptomatic stage will pass through screening mechanisms and may reach areas where there have been minimal or less cases," Guleria said.

Germany plans to extend social distancing until June 29, newspaper Bild cited a draft document that still needs to be approved by the federal states as saying. Asked about the report, a spokesman for the German government said talks were ongoing. Bild said meetings in public places would be limited to a maximum of 10 people or members of two households. It said there would be no limits on the number of visitors allowed to visit people in their own homes but they must ensure that there is enough space for everyone to keep their distance from each other and make sure there is enough fresh air.
