Coronavirus Lockdown: Milk collection to stop in Karnataka’s Dakshin Kannada and Udupi districts

The sale of milk products won't be affected only the ready-made distribution has been curbed

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd has issued a statement that they cannot distribute milk in Dakshin Kannada and Udupi Districts on March 29 and 30 in wake of coronavirus outbreak.

This directive has been issued in the wake of lack of availability of storage space which led them to take this decision of stopping the collection of milk, as per a statement they issued on Monday.

The sale of milk products won’t be affected only the ready-made distribution has been curbed.

It needs to be noted that coronavirus lockdown has become a cataclysmic pandemic in India with cases soaring above 1000 and deaths totalling at 25, it has begun becoming a pandemic beyond repair.
