Coronavirus cases have been on a rapid increase in India. With cases coming from every nook and corner of the country the situation is only turning worse as the clock is ticking quickly. In order to counter coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a bold step on putting 1.3 billion people of India under 21-day lockdown.
The move is aimed to lower the transmission rate of coronavirus which has passed 500 infections and taken death toll to 10. The lockdown is implemented from March 25 to April 14.
Every state has taken a variety of measure to contain COVID-19 its spread. A recent report from Tamil Nadu showed that a number of infections as on March 25th has risen to 23, out of which 1 patient has been reported recovered, one patient has died and others are under home quarantine.
But a recent update regarding Tamil Nadu’s COVID-19 cases has revealed that 4 Indonesian tourists were escorted to a hospital in Salem after they and their tour guide was found positive of coronavirus.
