Alappuzha/Kochi: A UK young couple sought treatment for fever and vomiting at the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital and fled before they were sent to an isolation ward amid an ongoing coronavirus threat. But, they were later discovered at Cochin International Airport in the neighbouring Nedumbassery district of Ernakulam.

As per the reports, the couple reached Kochi on March 9. The taxi driver who took the UK couple to Nedumbassery Airport, sought treatment at the hospital. According to the details he provided, police tracked the couple to the airport on Friday night.
