Costco Membership Deals in August 2026
People who are joining Costco for the first time can get a Digital Costco Shop Card when they sign up with auto renewal. Costco is currently offering a $40 Digital Costco Shop Card for new Executive members and a $20 card for new Gold Star members. The offer is for eligible new members and requires auto renewal at the time of joining. Costco says the promotion is available to people who have not had a Costco membership in any form during the previous 18 months.
A Gold Star membership costs $65 per year. An Executive membership costs $130 per year. Executive members can also earn a 2% annual reward on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases. The reward is subject to Costco’s rules and limits.
Costco had also advertised a $50 Digital Shop Card earlier in August as part of its 50th Anniversary promotion. However, that particular offer was valid only through August 2, 2026, so shoppers should not assume it is still active.
Costco SameDay Promo Code
Current Costco members can also find savings through Costco SameDay. One active offer gives a $10 instant credit on a qualifying purchase of at least $35 when shoppers use the code SUMMERSAMEDAY26 at checkout.
The promotion is valid through August 23, 2026. It can only be used on SameDay.Costco.com and requires an active Costco membership and a SameDay account. The $35 minimum is counted after discounts but before taxes, fees and tips. The offer is limited to one use per membership number and is available only in eligible U.S. areas.

Costco is also running a Member Only Savings event from July 27 through August 23. The official SameDay website lists more than 100 products under this event. Costco’s main warehouse savings page also shows special prices on selected products during the same period.
