Despite repeated demands from the Medical College Hospital management to take care of herself from corona infection, a doctor prepared the kit for herself and her husband from the car cover itself when arrangements were not made.
The doctor working in women and labour department, Geeta Rani did emergency duty on Wednesday by wearing a kit prepared from the car cover. During this period, she also did the surgery.
She told that a tailor named Saikat of Bari got the protection kit ready by taking help from YouTube. This kit is completely safe and it can be used after washing it regularly.
She has also sent an email to the Government of India and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar saying that with the protection kit if all the people will take out one umbrella from their respective houses, the distance of three feet will be taken automatically.
This cannot present an example of better social distancing. The diameter of an umbrella is three feet, so even if someone does not bring the umbrella, the person will quickly retreat and face the distance by moving it in front of him.
At the same time, Dr Rema Yadav has also appealed that people can follow social distancing with an umbrella.
