Red Cross Kerala wing chairman and CPM state secretariat member Sunil C Kurian passed in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, July 20. He was undergoing treatment at a city hospital for post-liver transplant issues.
As per the reports, doctors told reports that Sunil’s health condition deteriorated due to infection. The 50-year-old CPM leader breathed his last around 10.45 pm on Saturday night
His body was be kept for public homage at his residence in Murinjapalam from 9 am to 11 am on Sunday. His funeral will be performed at Kottayam Peroor Jacobite church cemetery.
Sunil is lived by his wife Neena Prasad who is a popular dancer.
Sunil joined the CMP in May last year. Sunil was earlier a firebrand SFI leader who was elected Kerala University (KU) Union chairman.
