This is the first Basketball World Cup that the Czech Republic is playing as an independent nation, and they have surprised one and all.
Australia remains one of the only four-team to go unbeaten at the group stage, after edging France out 100-98 in a close encounter at Nanjing Youth Olympic Park Gymnasium.
