Mumbai, July 16 (IANS) Dhairya Tandon, former contestant of “Super Dancer Chapter 3”, is set to play child Bhandasura in the mythology show, “Vighnaharta Ganesh”.
The stories of the show are weaved around Lord Ganesha. The upcoming track will show how Ganesha creates life of Bhandasura from the ashes of Kamdev.
“When I got the offer, my entire family was excited about it. After showing my dance moves on ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’, I thought acting would be an exciting move and would help me learn and grow,” Dhairya said.
“I look forward to working with actors like Malkhan Singhji and Akanksha Puriji who are popular faces on television,” he added.
The Ludhiana boy rose to popularity through his Kathak performances in the show “Super Dancer Chapter 3”, where he was fondly given the title of Baby Birju Maharaj.
