The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will launch the New Housing Scheme on Saturday at 12 pm. About 1354 flats will be allotted under the scheme. Most houses in this scheme are of the High-Income Group (HIG) and Middle-Income Group (MIG) categories.
The DDA informed that all the processes from the application, payment, to possession letters will be online through AWAAS software. This application will remain active till February 16, 2021. The scheme is linked to the credit-linked subsidy scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (Urban).
According to DDA, the official website of DDA on Saturday, 2nd January from 12 pm will provide the full detail about the scheme on www.dda.org.in.
The location of flats
According to information received from a senior official, flats will be prepared in Dwarka Sector-16, Dwarka Sector-19, Jasola, Mangolpuri, Vasant Kunj, and Rohini in West Delhi under the Delhi Development Authority’s scheme. The scheme will cover a total of 1,354 flats in various categories (HIG, MIG, and LIG).
— 230 (HIG) – Dwarka and Vasant Kunj
— 704 (MIG) – There are MIG class flats in Jasola and Dwarka.
— 275 flats – Mangolpuri and Dwarka are for economically weaker sections.
— 145 flats – Rohini has low-income group category flats.
The three-bedroom HIG flats in Jasola have been priced at Rs 2.1 crore whereas the MIG ones will cost buyers around Rs 1.2 crore.
The application process will be online
The process of application in the scheme will be completely online. For this, people will have to use DDA’s housing software. DDA has created a housing portal for application. The details of the housing scheme will be uploaded on the portal on January 2. The authority has recently developed this software.
Applications can apply at DDA Website
Those wishing to buy flats can get information by visiting the DDA website www.dda.org.in. You need to generate your ID. It will then be possible to apply for them. Then, choose the options and sizes of the flats. Finally, the registration fee has to be paid. The other process will also be online even after the draw.
These facilities will be provided in the housing scheme
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, eligible applicants will also get subsidies under the government scheme. Further, information related to the housing scheme and details will be made available on the department’s website at the launch of the scheme.
No location charges
Also, this time there will be no pre facial location charges for DDA flats. Under DDA’s new housing scheme, 15 percent allocation will be made to people of the EWS category. This is part of the provisions of the Master Plan for Delhi 2021.
DDA has made an agreement with 10 Banks
The applicant will have to come to the DDA office once for the process of the convention. DDA has entered into an agreement with 10 banks for the scheme. Application fees can be deposited through these banks. The application fee for the EWS category is Rs. 25, 000, one lakh for LIG, and Rs. 2 lakhs for MIG and HIG.
