The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has acquired 47,000 registrations till now for the New Housing Scheme since its release on 2nd January 2021.

Under this scheme, about 1354 flats will be allotted. Most houses in this scheme are of the High-Income Group (HIG) and Middle-Income Group (MIG) categories.

The draw will be held in March for this scheme and the application will remain active till February 16, 2021. Those who want to apply under this housing scheme can apply at www.dda.org.in.

A senior DDA official said, “We have received 46,500 registrations of which close to 9,000 people have already submitted their applications. Till Monday, 2,325 applicants had made the payment. A majority of people make payments in the last few days. Going by the number of people who have registered, the response has been good so far.”

The flats under DDA Housing Scheme 2021 will be prepared in Dwarka Sector-16, Dwarka Sector-19, Jasola, Mangolpuri, Vasant Kunj, and Rohini in West Delhi. The scheme will cover a total of 1,354 flats in various categories (HIG, MIG, and LIG).

The application fee for the EWS category is Rs. 25, 000, one lakh for LIG, and Rs. 2 lakhs for MIG and HIG. The entire detail and links of banks will be available on the website.

“This time, a majority of the flats have been put on sale for the first time. Given that these are HIG and MIG category flats, we are hopeful of getting a good response and selling all the flats,” said the official.
