Delhi Election Assembly 2020 goes on poll today and amid all the votings going on an unfortunate incident has taken place. An election officer deployed at a polling booth in Babarpur Primary School in Northeast Delhi died on Saturday, Delhi Police said.
The election officer has been identified as Udham Singh. He died after suffering a heart attack. The voting for Delhi Assembly Elections 2020 started at 8 am on Saturday morning.
The information was confirmed by news agency ANI.

For the uninitiated, Till 10:00 am, 4.33% voter turnout has been witnessed in Delhi Assembly Elections. While voting for 70 Assembly constituencies started in the national capital, C10 block booth in Yamuna Vihar and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya booth number 114 in Lodhi Estate area witnessed a delay in the polling due to the technical issues in Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).
