List of 8 Bihar leaders from AAP and BJP elected to Delhi assembly

The maximum number of Bihari MLAs have come from Aam Aadmi Party. Even the record of winning by the most votes came to Bihar's account.

The results of the Delhi Assembly elections are out. The Aam Aadmi Party performed excellently, capturing 72 seats, while the second-ranked BJP managed to win only 8 seats.

At the same time, leaders of Bihar origin have also raised the flag of victory in this election. In view of the large Purvanchal population in Delhi, the parties did not decline to give tickets to Biharis.

Eight MLAs from Bihar have been elected from Aam Aadmi Party to BJP. The maximum number of Bihari MLAs have come from Aam Aadmi Party. Even the record of winning by the most votes came to Bihar’s account.

  • Sanjeev Jha

Madhubani native Sanjeev Jha, who fought on AAP ticket from Burari assembly seat, defeated JDU candidate Shailendra Kumar by more than 88 thousand votes. This is the biggest win in Delhi’s 70 seats. Sanjeev got 63.22 per cent votes.

  • Vandana Kumari

AAP MLA from Shalimar Bagh, Vandana Kumari is from Chhap village in Muzaffarpur district. Vandana, who was the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, has won for the third time in a row. His father Late. Braj Kishore Sharma was the vice president of Muzaffarpur district BJP and for some time an official in the state BJP.

  • Somnath Bharti

This is the third victory of AAP MLA Somnath Bharti from Malviya Nagar. Bharti hails from Nawada district. He did his schooling from Hisua High School till the 10th standard. A lawyer by profession, Somnath Bharti is one of the old prominent leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party.

  • Vinay Mishra

Vinay Mishra is a native of Siriyapur in Madhubani district. He is the son of former MP Mahabal Mishra. Kejriwal made him a candidate from Dwarka, from where his father has also been elected as an MLA on a Congress ticket. This was Vinay’s first election.

  • Rituraj Govind

Rituraj Govind has scored the second win over Kirari. He belongs to Chakdaulat village in Samastipur district. He has completed his schooling from Haryana. He defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Anil Jha by 5654 votes.

  • Rajesh Rishi

Rajesh Rishi, who became MLA on AAP ticket from Janakpuri seat, is a resident of Patna. Janakpuri has been considered a BJP stronghold in away. However, in 2015, Rajesh defeated the BJP candidate by a margin of more than 25 thousand votes.

  • Dinesh Mohaniya

Dinesh Mohaniya, who became an MLA on your ticket from Sangam Vihar, has a relationship with Kaimur. Mohaniya defeated his nearest rival JDU candidate Shiv Charan Lal Gupta by 42522 votes. Dinesh Mohania has reached the assembly for the second time from this seat falling under South Delhi.

  • Abhay Verma

One of the seven BJP MLAs, Abhay Verma, hails from Darbhanga. Has become an MLA from Laxminagar. Abhay’s family lives in Harahi south of Darbhanga. Abhay Verma defeated AAP candidate Nitin Tyagi by a margin of just 880 votes. Nitin Tyagi won the last election with a margin of 4846 votes.
