The situation of nursery admissions in Delhi has become clear. There will be nursery admissions in schools in Delhi for this year, 2021-2022. Notifications in this regard will be issued soon. The government has started preparations for the same. However, the situation is not yet clear as to how long this notification will be issued.

Notably, last month, there was a rumor that the government is considering rejecting nursery admissions this time.

Talking to the media on Monday, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the government is not preparing to reject nursery admissions.

In fact, the admissions in the nursery last year are also being studied through online activities.

Schools have been demanding early notifications for nursery admissions.

Schools against the Delhi government

The operators of Delhi’s private schools on Monday showed their anger against the Kejriwal government. School operators led by five school organizations (APSA, DISA, NISA, PLPs, and South Delhi Association) showed solidarity against the government and staged a massive protest. About 500 school operators participated in the demonstration.

During the demonstration, the school operators also raised slogans against the government by hanging the shackles and locks in their neck.

The chairman of the Affordable Private School Association (APSA), Lakshay Chabria said that the Kejriwal government should release the reimbursement amount of the EWS for private schools at the earliest. This amount will help schools to give salary to their teachers. The Government should also issue notifications for nursery admissions at the earliest.

The Delhi government enrolls 51,160 poor children in private schools in the EWS quota every year, says Satyaveer Singh Mawi, chairman, Developing Independent School Alliance (DISA). This year, the process has not been started. This process should be started at the earliest.

Kulbhushan Sharma, president of the National Independent School Alliance, said that when schools from 6th to 12th class have been opened in major states like UP and Punjab, so now Delhi’s school should also be opened.
