Delhi Police Recruitment 2020: Amazing opportunity for candidates who aspire to work with the Delhi police, a prestigious Sarkari organisation. The Delhi Police will be going to fill 5846 vacant posts of constables. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will start work on this soon.
The posts advertised have vacancies for 3902 male candidates while 1944 female candidates.
Out of the 3902 vacancies, 3433 vacancies are for the post of male Constable EXE, 226 are for male ex-servicemen and 243 vacancies for ex-military commandos.
Candidates must be at least 12th pass. The applicants should be between 18 and 25 years in general category, 18-28 years in OBC and 18-30 years in SC/ST categories.
After the selection, the salary would be given as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The SSC is expected to publish information on this on its official website ssc.nic.in soon.
The selection process will be according to the computer-based examination which will be of 90 minutes. The exam will be of 90 marks and 0.25 marks will be given for every wrong answers too. The result of the Computer Based Examination shall be declared by the SSC.
The candidates who qualify the written test will have to appear in the PE&MT Medical Examination. Selected candidates shall be medically examined by Doctors in selected Government Hospitals in Delhi as per the prescribed standards.
