Reviewing products, hotels, restaurants and other such places of interest are common but recently Chennai’s police station has found a spot in the rate card. A man, named Logeshwaran S, who was recently detained by the police, gave a 4-star rating to a police station in Tamil Nadu on Google Maps.
Logeshwaran posted a review of the Thirumullaivoyal T10 Police Station in Chennai in which he described the experience of his ‘stay’ there. Written like a typical hotel review, the writer of post, who claims to be a ‘local guide’, said that he was detained around midnight for riding a two-wheeler without proper documents.
“I Got lock up in this station for traveling on mid ni8, without bike documents…. station is clean and placed on main road… Staffs are very kind they didn’t treat any harrassment. They released me after collecting details and finger print without any bribery… Must visiting place in your life…,” Logeshwaran wrote.
A screenshot of the review is being widely circulated on WhatsApp and Twitter and has prompted people to start posting similar reviews of the police station. Over the last 24 hours, there are plenty of reviews of the police station. The rating of the police station gradually went from 3.7 to 4.2 stars.
