Dhammachakra Pravartan Day or Dhammachakra Pravartan Din will be observed tomorrow i.e., on October 14, 2020. It is a day to praise the Buddhist change of B. R. Ambedkar and nearly 600,000 followers on 14 October 1956 at Deekshabhoomi. Consistently on Ashoka Vijayadashami, a large number of Neo-Buddhists and Dalits accumulate at Deekshabhoomi to praise the mass transformation.
On this day, back in 1956, the father of Indian Constitution Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar converted to Buddhism. More than 600,000 followers with him have also taken a step towards Buddhist conversion.
This has become one of the most important days in history and people in the community are enthusiastic about it.
To celebrate this day, a mega program is organized to mark the event in history. Many special trains are offered by the railway ministry of India to reduce the rush of Buddhist peoples who came across all over India.
