Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2019 postponed, check details here

DURAT 2019 update: Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2019, earlier scheduled to be held on July 19, has been postponed.

Dibrugarh University has rescheduled the admission test due to the recent floods in the state.

DURAT 2019 will now be conducted on July 27.

Why DURAT is conducted?

The Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test, popularly known as DURAT, is conducted for admissions to PhD and MPhil programmes.

About DURAT question paper pattern

DURAT question paper is divided in two sections Research Methodology (Group A) and Research Aptitude (Group B). The paper is of 100 marks.

  • Type of the paper:         Single paper based
  • Total marks:        100
  • Duration of the exam:   3 hours

DURAT: Application process

For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:

  1. The candidate shall be required to register in the portal www.dibru.online by entering Full Name, Username, Password and a Mobile Numbers to login. The candidate will get an “Activation Code” in the mobile which is to be entered for Activation.
  2. After Activation, the candidates shall be required to log in with his/ her user name and password and shall be required to fill up the Online Application Form with correct and appropriate information.
  3. The applicants shall be required to pay the DURAT Fee of Rs. 600/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is acceptable.

DURAT 2019 will now be conducted on July 27.

Candidates should note that no new admit cards will be issued by Dibrugarh University for the postponed examination.

About Dibrugarh University Ph.D Admission process

In to bid take admission into Ph.D course, candidates should qualify DURAT followed by an Interview.

Candidates with M.Phil degree are exempted from DURAT. This apart, candidate with BE/B.Tech degree with a valid JRF/ NET/ GATE score can also apply for Ph.D. program. A candidate should obtain at least 55% marks in OR equivalent grade point in the Master’s Degree.
