Dil Bechara Trailer: Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi’s film highlight uncertainties of life and death

The much-awaited trailer of ‘Dil Bechara’ film starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sanjana Sanghi has been released on July 6.

The film has been directed by Mukesh Chhabra who made his directorial debut. Based on the American author John Green’s novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, the movie revolves around two people who fall in love and unite to narrate a story-driven by emotions, pain, pathos, and unrequited passion.

In a two minute trailer, Kizie Basu(Sanjana) and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny(Sushant) can be seen exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Together, Kizie and Manny embark on an on-off-up-down-sad and sweet profound journey into the heart of that crazy little thing called life. It teaches them what it means to feel truly alive and fall in love.

Ironically, the trailer highlights the incredible uncertainties of life and death. Seeing Sushant light up those few minutes breaks our hearts once again. For his fans and for countless others still grappling with the reality that he is no more.

A day before the trailer release, Mukesh, AR Rahman, Sanjana, and all those associated with the film remembered Sushant and wrote that he will always hold a special place in their hearts.

The official synopsis for Dil Bechara states, “It is the story of Kizie Basu and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny and explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Together Kizie and Manny embark on an on-off-up-down-sad and sweet profound journey into the heart of that crazy little thing called life. It teaches them what it means to feel truly alive and fall in love.”

Dil Bechara is all set for its digital release on Disney+Hotstar on July 24. This film will be a tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput who died on June 14 by suicide. Sushant is survived by his father and three sisters.
