Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji actor Ansh Bagri was reportedly assaulted by a gang of men in Delhi ten days ago when he returned to Delhi from Punjab where he was shooting for his upcoming film Vellapanti.
As per reports, the actor resides in Paschim Vihar in Delhi along with his mother and sister was beaten by men sent by a contractor who over an argument with the actor had left his construction of the house incomplete.
The actor informed this attack being a planned activity as Ansh after his fallout with the said contractor, gave the contract to another contractor.
The actor informed, “The attack was planned by a contractor who was earlier given charge of the construction of the house, but this year in March (before the lockdown), he decided to leave the work after an argument over the payment of dues.” The incident happened on Saturday, with the actor filing a complaint about it at Paschim Vihar police station on that day itself. Besides this he was also mentioned when the actor was away for work, the former contractor threatened his mother and sister as well.
Narrating the incident when he was beaten up by the former contractor’s men he said, “At present, we have a new contractor and work is going on. On Saturday, a few men came to my home and they said that they wanted to talk to me. I went outside and could see this contractor making a video and these men started gathering around me. I sensed something was wrong and immediately, I called the police and they said they were on their way. After asking these men what they wanted, I thought I should go back inside. As I turned, one man pushed me and around 8-10 of them started beating me up.”
