The DMK president M Karunanidhi was admitted to Kauvery Hospital at Alwarpet in Chennai on Thursday morning. Reportedly, the 92-year-old former Tamil Nadu chief minister has not been keeping well for the last few days.
Earlier, there were reports that Karunanidhi has been asked to take rest due to some allergy. He also had stopped meeting people and party workers.
“He is stable and is being treated by a team of doctors. He will be in the hospital for a few days,” a statement issued by the hospital reads.
According to a press release issued by the hospital, he has been admitted for optimisation of nutrition and hydration.
The hospital also added that he is stable and will return home in a few days.
