DSP's car stationed for Bihar CM Nitish Kumar goes missing; probe underway

DSP Manoj Kumar’s vehicle from Saharsa, under the protection of CM Nitish Kumar, disappeared from Purnia Collectorate last Tuesday when he was under the protection of the Chief Minister.

Surprisingly, when the car went missing, many top officials including CM Nitish Kumar, DGP were holding a review meeting in the DM office.

For 24 hours, when no information was found about the vehicle and the driver, a case was lodged at Purnia’s Haat police station. DSP of Saharsa Special Branch Manoj Kumar has written a complaint that he had brought a safari car on January 5 on the orders of Saharsa DM.

Seeing the security arrangements from the Purnia Collectorate at 2 PM on January 7, the circuit house and helipad, auditorium and other places went under scrutiny. Meanwhile, the driver escaped with the car and his mobile number is also switched off since that day.

Not only this but the vehicle of the ASP of Patna also disappeared from the arms of the Special Branch of the Secretariat Police Station. A case has also been registered in the police station but until today that vehicle could not be found.

The probe into the matter is underway.
